WALKING SPIDER

 Walking Spider is an espresso set inspired on a Daddy Long Legs which resembles the movement of the arachnid when assembled the 2 cups together. It was presented during the Design Week Mexico 2019
The spiders’ aesthetic features were analysed and synthesised in such way that the set together will always look like a walking spider.
 
The designer also shows the way ceramics can be shaped in order to play with minimal forms through design and will be available in black and white. 
 
Part of the intention behind this project is the belief that if we get used to the idea that spiders are not necessarily evil we will be more careful not to kill them but get them back to the garden or put them in a plant.
 
Plus drinking a coffee in one of these cups will make any day classier.
